From newbie to expert…

Whether you’re new to Pilates, recovering from an injury or a Pilates expert, my classes are designed for every body. You’ll find a level and mood of class to suit your needs/wants. Start with the foundations with the New to Pilates Course, then flow onto Pilates Relax and Pilates Detox which build on those foundations. When you feel ready, try out the Pilates Tone and Challenge styles where you’ll get to practice more advanced exercises in more creative and brain teasing combinations. Remember, I generally teach ALL class sequences with a foundation (or close to foundation) level exercise and build from there. This way you know where to go back to if the sequence has gone a little too far for your level of knowledge and practice. Always listen to your body and only do exercises that feel safe for you.

Qualified instruction with passion…

I’ve been teaching Pilates both in-studio (in person) and online for over 11 years. My Pilates career started after graduating from Adelaide College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Dance Performance (majoring in Ballet and Contemporary). When looking for something to suplement my dance income I quickly fell in love with teaching Pilates. Helping people find, build and maintain strength as well as balance, and work on mobility/flexibility leads people to growth in self confidence. Supporting people in feeling good in their skin is SUPER rewarding!
I hold a Diploma of Pilates Teaching and Methodology (Tensegrity Training, Australia) as well as a Diploma of Remedial Massage (Evolve College, Australia) along with many smaller certificates from continuing education. When you choose to work with me either in-studio or online, you can feel safe and secure, knowing that your instructor is highly trained, continuing their education and is super passionate about their work. You don’t need to want to look good. You don’t need to become a master. You don’t need any background knowledge of Pilates, Massage or Meditation. Well-being by Bec Fletcher is about cultivating and building well-being from the inside, out in whatever time-frame and pace you personally want. The Pilates Method is about healing and strengthening. I want you out of injury/s, away from pain and as stress free as possible. That’s why there’s a growing collection of Pilates Relax, Detox and Self Massage classes/routines on the online platform. You don’t have to work towards the Pilates Tone or Challenge Classes at all.
Well-being is what you want/need for you - not what someone else thinks is for you. So… listen to yourself, try out a few of the different class styles/levels and find what truely works for you. Enjoy your fitness and it will become a craving instead of a toll.
